You've gotta talk the talk, if your gonna walk the walk...

“Couponing Lingo”
Couponing Lingo can be difficult to understand at first… and a bit overwhelming!  Here is a list of the most commonly used Couponing abbreviations:
B1G1- Buy one, get one free
B2G1- Buy two, get one free
Catalina or CAT- coupon dispensed at the register along with your receipt.
DND- Do not double.  Manufacturers coupons that have this printed on them are not supposed to be doubled at stores that double coupons.  However, if the number below the barcode on the coupon begins with a “5”, they will often times double.  The ones that start with a “9” will not.
Double Coupon- Store coupon that a grocery store will use to double the amount of a man. Coupon.
GM- General Mills
Hangtag- Coupon found hanging from a tag around the neck of a bottle or jar.
Insert- Booklet of coupons found in your Sunday Newspaper.
MIR- Mail in Rebate, found on the product in the store.
MM- Moneymaker- a deal in where after a coupon or after mail in rebate, you make money with an overage of some sort.
MQ- manufacturer coupon, a coupon issued by the Manufacturer of the product (as opposed to a store coupon which is issued by the store.
OOP- Out of Pocket
OYNO- on Your Next Order- wording that is found on a Catalina or Register Reward coupon which entitles you to a certain amount of money off of your next purchase.
PG or P&G- Procter & Gamble coupon insert found in your Sunday Paper.
POP- Proof of Purchase- required for a refund and in most cases required for a mail in rebate.
Printable- a coupon that you print from your computer.
RC- Raincheck- a slip of paper that a store issues when they are out of the product listed as their promotion, entitling you to come back later and get the same product for the same deal.
RP- Red Plum- insert found in your Sunday paper.
RR- Register Rewards- name of the Catalina promotion at Walgreen’s
SS- SmartSource- insert found in your Sunday Newspaper.
Stacking- When you use an in-store coupon along with a manufacturer’s coupon.
WYB- When you buy
